Yes, it can be thinned with water, up to a maximum of 5% of the total weight.

It can be applied with a brush, roller or sprayer. An airless sprayer is the best method for spray application. A tray with roller is recommended for homogeneous wetting of the surface.

At normal conditions (23°C, 50% RH), the drying period for one coat is around 2 hours. A subsequent coat can only be applied after complete drying of the previous one.

Yes, the coating is resistant to intensive repeated washing (Class 1 according to DSTU EN 13300).

For best results, apply 2-3 coats of the Universal Rubber Paint. The first coat is a base coat. Subsequent coats should only be applied after the previous coat is completely dry, but no sooner than 4 hours later.

Priming is recommended for most surfaces to increase adhesion. Uncoated mineral surfaces should be primed with a deep penetrating primer. New wood should be primed with an acrylic wood primer. Metal surface should be primed with an anticorrosion primer.

Properly prepared, previously coated surfaces may not require priming.

Apply when air and surface temperatures are between +10°C to +30°C and relative humidity is less than 80%. Avoid application in direct sunlight, strong winds, frost or precipitation.

Base A can be used as a white ready-to-use coating or tinted manually into pastel, light and medium colors using Farbex Color pigment concentrates or other water-based tinting pastes. Base C must be tinted as it cannot be used untinted. Both bases can be tinted in coloring machines according to various color Reference systems like NCS.

Typical consumption is 100-200 g/m2 per coat, depending on the application method and surface type. More porous or rough surfaces may require higher consumption rates.

Yes, the dry coating has moderate vapor permeability of 60-70 g/m2 per day according to testing standards.

The dried coating has low water permeability rating of 0.05-0.1 kg/(m2h0,5) per testing methods, providing good water resistance.

Rinse tools thoroughly with water immediately after application before the paint dries.

The coating achieves full hardness and resistance to weathering and mechanical impacts in 28 days after application.
